Istanbul Park<\/strong>, also called Istanbul Racing Circuit, is 5.338 km long with an average width of 15 meter. It is one of few F1 circuits run anticlockwise. It is located in Tuzla, east of Istanbul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key to setting a good lap time is good aerodynamic efficiency. The spectacular turn 8, nickamed Diabolica, is an extremely fast sweeping left-hander turn with four apexes taken on the same line at around 250 km\/h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Istanbul Park was designed by architect Herman Tilke.
